After completing a diploma course at Leiths School of Food & Wine in London, celebrity chef Matt Tebbutt worked under a series of renowned masters, perfected the art of bread-making and, after eight years at some of the city’s top eateries, returned to Wales to take over The Foxhunter Restaurant in the picturesque village of Nantyderry, South Wales. Since then, Matt’s cherished establishment has received a number of impressive accolades, including AA Restaurant of the Year for Wales, and Best Newcomer in Wales by the Good Food Guide.
A passionate advocate of modern British cooking that features honest, simple recipes and the freshest, seasonal, and locally-sourced ingredients, Matt is also the co-host of UKTV’s Market Kitchen and a regular guest on BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen and, along with being a prominent food and travel commentator for several national newspapers and consumer publications, is the author of a wildly successful first solo cookbook, Matt Tebbutt Cooks Country.

A multi-starred Michelin and 5AA Rosette award-winning French chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli began his celebrated career at age 14 in his home town of Arras in Northern France, and by the time he was 20, was already Elie de Rothschild’s private head chef in Paris.
Described as making women swoon with a flick of his whisk and known as ‘the nation’s favourite French chef’, Jean-Christophe first arrived in Great Britain in 1983 when he spent a year in charge of British chef and TV personality Keith Floyd’s pub, The Maltsters. Since then, he has won Restaurant of the Year on several occasions, along with numerous other awards for culinary excellence.
Dubbed ‘The World’s Sexiest Chef’ by the New York Times and voted by Sky viewers as one of their ‘Top 50 Beautiful Men’, Jean-Christophe opened the world-renowned Novelli Academy Cookery School in 2005 where he personally teaches most of the courses.
‘Most people know they need to eat more healthily,’ says Jean-Christophe, ‘but don’t have time to re-invent their favourite recipes. The recipes we’ve created are easy to do and designed to be healthier, without compromising on flavour. We hope they take the headache out of mealtimes and give mums peace of mind that they’re helping to look after their families’ hearts.’
