With a knack for turning real estate into real income, Scott McGillivray is the star of Income Property, who first got his start in television as the hunky handyman on the two Debbie Travis series From The Ground Up and Face Lift.
During his university days, Scott turned a school assignment into a career-making endeavor when he invested his student loans to buy a fixer-upper, and then transformed the home into a rental property with a bare-bones renovation. Flipping and refinancing has proved a winning strategy, and today the 30-year-old has a portfolio of nearly 20 properties with more than 100 tenants.
