While this may sound impossible to some – it’s just another day on the job for the teams of building movers in Monster Moves. Follow two teams of daring building movers as they attempt remarkable rescue missions of hauling a lofty 400 ton, 90 foot lighthouse off a crumbling cliff and relocating a mining town from falling into a mineshaft before the arctic winter weather strikes.
Monster Moves: Wooden Wonders
Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT
Will these colossal and fragile wooden buildings survive the move? Find out when Canada’s leading heavy hauler Harold Minty attempts to relocate a titanic tavern in Manitoba 50 km over a mountain encrusted in snow and ice, while Jimmy Matyiko aims to haul an entire farm complex of buildings across the countryside in Staunton, Virginia.
Monster Moves: Historic Hulks
Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT
In Des Moines, Iowa, follow house hauler Jeremy Patterson attempt to relocate a 700 ton Victorian Revival Murillo Hall, while a team of vintage aircraft enthusiasts attempt to cut up and dismantle a precious Lockeed Lodestar aircraft 60km across the Trans-Canada highway in Vancouver, Canada.
