NAKED FASHION: The Famous Fug Girls and Star Stylist Canadian Michael Schaeble Take Celebrity Fashion From Faux-Pas to Fierce Right Before Your Eyes
June 06, 2008
CALGARY, March 17, 2008 – E! is pleased to bring viewers Naked Fashion – a fresh, fun, fashion-focused romp. Naked Fashion’s witty and unrelenting style experts illustrate how specific celebrity fashion misses could have been hits all while delivering the latest fashion tips and trends and celebrity news.
Cutting-edge technology allows the Naked Fashion panelists to freeze footage of celebrities like Mariah Carey, Hillary Swank and Pamela Anderson posing for the paparazzi or walking the red carpet. After the trio argues over what the star should have been wearing, the celeb in question is instantly redressed and set in motion looking fashion fabulous.
“With a talented panel including Canada’s own Michael Schaeble, this show is poised to transform fashion reviews on the small screen,” said Christine Shipton, SVP, Drama and Factual Content, Canwest Broadcasting. “The red carpet and extensive fashion coverage that the network regularly showcases makes this fun new Canadian series a perfect fit for E!.”
Hosted by Myleene Klass (Popstars), the show panelists include Paula Reed (Project Catwalk), Canadian Michael Schaeble and celebrity fashion bloggers Jessica Morgan and Heather Cocks (a.k.a. “The Fug Girls”). This duo is famous for their fashion reviews, most notably on www.gofugyourself.com attracting 4 million fashion-savvy viewers every month.
In addition to styling high profile celebrities like Claudia Schiffer and Bryan Adams, panelist Michael Schaeble has worked as a reporter and stylist for Flare magazine and on television shows including Fashion Avenue and Bride and Grooming.
Rob Carey, Head of Factual Entertainment at Cineflix comments, “Naked Fashion is an exciting addition to our growing slate of Factual Entertainment formats. The show blends innovative CGI and insider celeb fashion gossip to create a new global style brand.”
