Cineflix International Proves Right Partner For Channel 7 Australia

Cineflix International has announced its latest representation deal with Australian broadcaster and producer Channel 7 after a consistent set of positive sales results for other Seven shows represented in the CID catalogue.

The latest shows to be added to Cineflix International’s roster are Animal Rescue(13×30), Surf Patrol(13×30) and Desperate Learners Driving School (12×30).

Animal Rescue is an observational documentary series featuring the tough daily assignments and high pressure work faced by the RSPCA’s inspectorate and veterinary staff; men and women who work tirelessly to fight animal cruelty across Australia.

In Surf Patrol we follow life-guards as they patrol the sheer beauty of Australia’s beaches and coastline. From Bondi to Broome, we join them as they perform daring rescues, patrol for sharks, and help hapless overseas visitors and locals alike handle the perils and pleasures of the surf.

Desperate Learners Driving School follows the attempts of 10 of Australia’s worst drivers to pass their driving test. While driving is a skill most people take for granted, these learners’ heart-wrenching stories of failure and desperation will resonate with anyone who has ever struggled with achieving a goal.

Cineflix International has acquired the rights to distribute the 3rd series of both Border Security and Medical Emergencies both also Channel 7 productions, after reporting healthy sales into a number of territories for the first 2 series.

The third series of Border Security has already been sold to, Living TV in the UK, Vitaya in Belgium, VTM and Planete France. Medical Emergency 3 has also got off to a good start finding homes at UKTV and again Vitaya.

Border Security follows the expert team patrolling and protecting Australia’s borders and gives a fascinating look into the daily lives of those on the front line of protecting their country. Medical Emergency explores the extraordinary events and circumstances experienced by the staff and patients of a busy hospital emergency ward with unprecedented behind the scenes footage.
