Cineflix recruits one of Canada's top Entertainment Lawyers

Montreal, Thursday, August 29, 2007 : Cineflix CEO Glen Salzman announced today that Sam Berliner of the law firm of Heenan Blaikie will join the company as Executive Vice-President of Business and Legal Affairs. Berliner will join Cineflix commencing November 1, 2007.

Berliner has practiced law for twenty years with Heenan Blaikie, where he became partner in 1989. Prior to his work at Heenan Blaikie Berliner worked for eight years with Astral Film Enterprises as Vice-President of Business and Legal Affairs.

“Sam Berliner is one of the top entertainment lawyers in the business and we are really pleased that he has decided to join Cineflix,” said Salzman. “His expertise and experience will be of great value to Cineflix as the company’s production arm and distribution company continue to grow.”
