Montreal, December 14, 2005 : The new Cineflix series Birth Days, an in-depth documentary series about the emotionally charged first days and weeks at home with a newborn baby, premieres on Life on Thursday, January 12, 2006 at 9:30 pm ET.

The 26 half-hour episodes of Birth Days celebrate the magic of becoming a parent by following families on their journeys into parenthood, focusing on the dramatic first days of living with baby at home.

From baby blues, nursing woes, sleepless nights, colic, returning to work and interfering friends and grandparents to the unprecedented joy of bringing a baby into the world, Birth Days offers a real-life glimpse at what real people experience when they enter the baby zone. Through compelling personal stories, Birth Days explores the emotional, medical, economic and social aspects of parenting and the post-partum experience.

In episode one (January 12 at 9:30 pm), Paula and Leo are convinced that parenthood will not pose a threat to the lifestyle they’ve established in six years of marriage. But the minute baby daughter Lola is born, the couple head into an unknown and difficult world where their lives, and relationship, are tested.
