Cineflix appoints Léon Arcand as Vice President of Production

Montreal, 20 February, 2004 - Cineflix Canada announced today the appointment of Léon Arcand, as Vice President of Production. Mr. Arcand has more than twenty years experience working in the television and film industry, in Canada and internationally. As VP based in Montreal, he will oversee production and co-production operations in Canada.

Mr. Arcand recently served as Executive Producer for Cinégroupe Images Inc., the company’s live-action division. At Cinégroupe, Mr. Arcand also acted as Producer, Manager of Productions, and Director of Development. Mr. Arcand also worked as Assistant Vice-President, Film and Television Financing at Banque Nationale de Paris, and as a Financial Analyst at Téléfilm Canada.
