Montreal, March 3, 2003 - The much-loved, internationally successful series Dogs with Jobs is back with 13 new episodes and 39 more incredible dogs. Season 4, starting Wednesday, April 9 at 10:30 p.m. on the Life Network, delivers dramatic stories of working dogs fulfilling a wide range of new and remarkable responsibilities. Dogs with Jobs are performing narcolepsy alert duty, toxic mold detecting and psychiatric assistance.

In Toronto, Morgan the standard poodle is always on call to keep his narcoleptic owner safe, while Lily hunts down moulds that lurk unseen behind the walls in homes in Pennsylvania. Baron, a boxer, works as a mental health dog in Guelph and enables his owner to venture out into the world.

Morgan the Lab works as concierge at Vancouver’s posh Fairmount Hotel where guests book him to take them for walks. Kaiser is an RCMP cadet who’s undergoing stringent training and testing to become part of the exclusive RCMP dog corps.

In the season opener, Annie, a short-legged basset hound, is an unlikely contender as she competes for a high-level title in agility. In Langley, British Colombia Casey, a workaholic border collie, refuses to retire from mucking out the stables. Sailor, a coddled pug, learns to be calm, patient and generous in order to qualify as a therapy dog in a Montreal hospital.

This season, Dogs with Jobs tracks down great new international stories in Europe and Asia, including Aron, the Rotterdam line-up detective who’s the newest member of an elite crime-fighting team. Vera detects landmines along the Thai-Cambodian border where many residents have lost limbs due to exploding mines. Eddie, also known as Dr. Dog, is helping to change perceptions of dogs in Hong Kong where keeping dogs as pets is a recent phenomenon.

In the U.K., top sheepdog Ben competes in the National Sheepdog Championships and Part-Ex, the Guinness Record-winning extreme sports champ, attempts to water ski for the first time. Barney, a springer spaniel, takes his drug-sniffing exam at British pub where he’s on the alert for marijuana, heroin and cocaine.

Dogs with Jobs reports for duty with Jonah a Seattle Police Department hero who took a bullet in the head and saved his handler’s life. It sets sail with Moby, a Newfoundland landseer lifeguard who keeps California children safe on marine expeditions. And in Hawaii, Dogs with Jobs surfs with Koby and the dolphins.
