Cineflix Launches Scripted Division Mad Men Network Executive Christina Wayne to Lead "Cineflix Studios" as President

Cineflix, the international production and distribution company, today announced the appointment of Christina Wayne as the President of their newly founded scripted entertainment entity Cineflix Studios.
Based in the company’s New York office, Wayne will be responsible for overseeing Cineflix’s push into scripted programming in the USA, the UK and Canada, with a focus on producing long running and returning TV series.
Previously, Wayne was SVP of Scripted Series and Mini Series at AMC, where she oversaw the Emmy award-winning hits Mad Men, Breaking Bad and Broken Trail.
Cineflix CEO Glen Salzman commented, “Christina has a fantastic ability to spot, develop and produce unique ideas and scripts. We think that her stellar creative track record combined with our expertise in production financing will make Cineflix Studios a formidable player in scripted programming.”
With Wayne at the helm, Cineflix Studios will develop, produce, finance and distribute, in-house scripted programming, while also coming on board as a lay off studio for material developed externally. Projects currently in development include one-hour dramas, half-hour comedies, and live action and animated children’s programming.
