Beginning Thursday, April 9 at 6 p.m. ET on Discovery HD, curious kids and pet-loving parents can tune in to Frisky Business for a furry, fun-loving romp alongside the extraordinary creatures who work with humans to make our lives easier, safer, and simply more interesting.

Meet Nok, a macaque monkey who is bananas for her new job collecting coconuts in Thailand…  Join Peekaboo, a one-year-old UK hedgehog for his first day as a slug-munching pest controller…  And follow sheep dog crusaders, Blue and Tess, as they chase away elk intruders from Banff-area golf courses.

From artistic pigs and elephants, to rock star cats and PR orangutans (no comments from the peanut gallery, please!), Frisky Business travels the world in search of the most remarkable working animals on the planet. They’re ingenious, intelligent, and incredibly talented!

An accomplished actor, dancer, singer, and television presenter, series host John Barrowman has performed extensively on Broadway, in London’s West End, and on television. His TV credits include the role of Captain Jack Harkness in Doctor who, and its spin-off Torchwood, as well as regular guest appearances on entertainment shows including Any Dream Will Do, and How Do You Solve a Problem like Maria?
