Junior Office Coordinator (Toronto)

The Role

Cineflix is currently looking to fill the role of Junior Office Coordinator. This is a full-time, permanent position based out of our Toronto offices. 

The Junior Office Coordinator role is responsible for supporting our fast-paced television production and post production office. Reporting to the Operations Manager - Canada, and located at our Adelaide Street location the selected candidate will be responsible for assisting the operations team with a variety of duties at our Adelaide Street and Spadina Avenue locations. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and deliveries
  • Receive and prep packages for intercity couriers (Adelaide)
  • Prepare packages for collection by Fedex (Adelaide)
  • Sort and distribute incoming external mail and interoffice mail
  • Assist Post Production team with television series transcriptions
  • Assist Post Production with tape inventory
  • Place, unpack and distribute general supply and toner orders (Adelaide)
  • Upkeep the kitchens, including dishwashers, coffee machines, etc. (Adelaide)
  • Place kitchen supply orders (Adelaide)
  • Call overflow from Spadina location
  • Facilitate meeting room bookings
  • Assist with set up of workstations
  • Assist with the packing up and cleaning up of productions 
  • Hold and distribute cab chits (Adelaide)
  • Back up for processing various corporate account invoices and rebills
  • Set up monthly Friday Social (Adelaide)
  • Assist with handyman duties as needed (Adelaide & Spadina)
  • Additional duties as assigned by Operations Manager – Canada

 

Qualities and Qualifications

  • Strong organization and multitasking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and phone manner
  • Strong attention to keeping the work area neat and tidy 
  • Able to work well in both a team environment and autonomously
  • Knowledge of Mac Computers, MS Office Suite, and excellent typing skills
  • Knowledge of basic tools and IKEA furniture assembly a plus
