Office Assistant (Toronto, Full Time)
Cineflix Media Inc. is a leading international media company that is bringing together a mix of global broadcast and production partners, major talent and key executives to get top quality original content produced and distributed for television and other emerging platforms. Currently producing more than 400 hours per year of multi-genre TV for international broadcasters, and with a rapidly expanding library of 2500 hours, Cineflix Media is a recognized leader with offices in Montreal, Toronto, London, New York, Los Angeles, Vancouver, and Dublin.
The Role
Reporting to the Office Manager, the Office Assistant helps with the daily functions, operational needs and general office maintenance for both corporate and production employees. This is a full-time position based out of our Toronto, Spadina office.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Delivering interoffice mail between Spadina and Adelaide three times daily or as required
• Distribution of unpacked office supplies to each office location
• Furniture assembly, placement, and repair
• Outgoing mail stamping and drop off at mailbox
• Monitoring and distributing the 4th floor faxes
• Restocking paper, toner, general supplies, paper towel, and tissue paper (Spadina, 3rd and 4th floor)
• Maintaining and posting boardroom sign up sheets, alarm contact sheets, and fridge cleaning notifications
• Installation of cork/white boards and Cineflix production posters
• General office maintenance duties at Spadina and Adelaide locations (dry wall repair, paint touch-ups, etc.)
• Transporting legal binders between Legal department and productions or storage
• Assisting with internal employee office furniture/equipment relocations
• Running errands as needed to the hardware store, Canadian Tire etc.
• Maintenance of power tools
• Reception covering as needed
• Other general assistance to productions/individuals as required or as assigned by Office Manager or Office Coordinator

• Able to perform in a fast-paced work environment
• Able to prioritize and multi-task
• Strong problem solving skills
Qualification/Skills
• Completed university, college degree or high school education
• Capable of lifting full Banker’s Boxes, and transporting heavy furniture and equipment between each office (approx. 20 lbs)
• Ability to build and repair Ikea furniture
• Experience using carpentry and power tools
• Excellent computer skills - Microsoft Office, proficient with Excel
