Show hosts for Python Hunters:

Shawn Heflick – the biologist

A wisecracking field biologist with 30 years’ experience, adrenaline-junkie Shawn Heflick has traveled the world catching reptiles and amphibians, has bred over 100 different species, and is the only person in the State of Florida licensed to privately own and breed Komodo dragons. Always up for adventure, Shawn is passionate and knowledgeable about conservation, the Everglades and most of all, reptiles. And, whether he’s extracting venom from a rattlesnake, consulting on a Hollywood blockbuster (Transformers II, Spiderman III), or hunting for giant pythons in the field, this committed family man is serious about his work.

Greg Graziani – the muscle

With his hunky good looks and tightly coiled energy, Greg Graziani is the charmer of the group whose deep connection to reptiles dates back to his school days when he made extra money catching snakes and selling them to pet shops.  Strong, fearless and unflappable in the face of danger, this former cop now runs Graziani Reptiles Inc., a family-run breeding facility for ball pythons in Venus, Florida, where he works tirelessly to create new strains for a large and ever-growing number of hobbyists. Passionate about ridding the Everglades of Burmese pythons, Greg is also working with rare albino alligators, turtles, lizards, crocodiles, venomous snakes, and giant pythons.

Michael Cole – the tracker

Solid, dependable, macho, and with his uncanny knack for spotting snakes and gators, Michael Cole is the eyes of the team.  A hunter from way back, Michael has been breeding and working with large reptiles for 25 years. He’s been a volunteer for the live capture and removal of nuisance alligators, has worked with law enforcement on the removal of native venomous and non-venomous snakes from human development areas, and since 2005, runs a full-time, family-owned and operated reptile business that ships animals to over two dozen countries, and supplies zoos in the U.S. and beyond.
