David Clarke
Vice-President of Strategic Planning, Cineflix

Based in our London office, David works closely with Simon Lloyd, CEO of Cineflix Productions, and Creative Director Rob Carey to secure pre-sale, co-production, and co-financing revenue for new Cineflix programming. David is also responsible for acquiring third party formats and for extending Cineflix’s global reach through strategic partnerships focused on marrying creative with commercial.

Before joining Cineflix in 2010, David spent a decade working in one of the world’s most competitive pay-TV markets. At Virgin Media TV he was both the Controller for Bravo, Bravo 2, and Challenge & Trouble, as well as Head of International Co-Production Development. During his tenure there, David was instrumental in securing Bravo’s highest-ever rated programme, the company’s first-ever major sports rights deal, as well as signing the company’s first ever U.S. co-production deal. Prior to that, David spent seven years with Bravo where he rose through the ranks from Acquisitions Executive and Programming Executive, to Programming Editor and finally Managing Editor.
