Executive Producer

As Executive Producer of American Pickers, Python Hunters, World’s Greenest Homes and Stop Shouting At Me, Mark Poertner has added extensive broadcast experience to the Cineflix team.

Prior to joining Cineflix, Mark oversaw Discovery Health’s annual ten-hour Birth Day Live broadcasts as well as the daily hour-long live Dr. Joy Browne programme, TLC’s Street Customs, Hard Shine and the Brookhaven Obesity Clinic series, Travel Channel’s Conde Nast Awards show hosted by Samantha Brown as well as Saddam’s Tribe and Dictators by Design for Discovery Times.

Mark was also an Executive Producer and Production Manager for FOX in Washington. There he launched and Executive Produced the award winning syndicated Children’s series, Not Just News. His Emmy winning documentary on the Vietnam Memorial, The Wall was also honored by AMVETS and Countdown to Discovery: Return to Space received an Emmy and a Houston International Film Festival award.
